Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at IVOR ENTERPRISE INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Lead and direct the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to food service staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Inventory Management and Supply Chain

Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

Staff Recruitment and Management

Recruit, hire, and manage food service staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team that delivers exceptional results.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and provide food order summaries to the chef, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the food service team.

Work Schedule Management

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient use of resources.

Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
