Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PiP Food & Drink Ltd. as a key member of our food services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance.
  • Operational Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet demand.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and monitor expenses to ensure that they are within approved limits.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Client-focused, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language of communication, and proficiency in English is required.
