Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PiP Food & Drink Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
    • Work with the culinary team to develop and implement menu plans that meet customer expectations and quality control standards.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial planning and management.
    • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment
    • Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Fine dining establishment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
