- Culinary Leadership
- Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures and protocols to ensure efficient operations.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that all ingredients and supplies are available when needed.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Ability to train and develop staff to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
