About the Opportunity
CN is a world-class transportation leader and trade-enabler, dedicated to building North America's safest, most inclusive and sustainable railroad. As a Railway Field Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring railcar inspection maintenance and repair is performed safely and efficiently.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Field leadership to ensure safe and efficient railcar inspection maintenance and repair.
  • Work with teams such as Mechanical, Transportation, and Reliability to contribute to safety orientation, compliance, enforcement, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead projects and oversee project portfolios.

Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams Notes, and Word).
  • Knowledge of reporting software such as Tableau and Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), Query Designer, ARIBA or equivalent*
  • Valid Driver's License.

Education
  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, BCom, Computer Science, or Construction Management.
