We are seeking an experienced Railway Systems and Stations Commissioning Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and operational readiness of railway systems and stations.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project, the Edmonton Valley Line West LRT, as part of a design-build joint venture between Colas and Parsons. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of railway systems and stations, including:

  • Overseeing the testing and commissioning process
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders, including discipline leads and third-party contractors
  • Developing and implementing commissioning plans and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry best practices

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in railway systems commissioning and operational readiness
  • Proven leadership and documentation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to a Goal Zero safety program

Location and Relocation Package

The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Edmonton, Alberta for the duration of the project. A relocation package is available to support your move.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
