Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Denali Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. They will also be responsible for managing contracts, training and development strategies, and overseeing the analysis of employee data and information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Manage contracts and training and development strategies
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Provide administrative support to the office
  • Assist with budget planning and control
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Train other workers
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Advise senior management
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Arrange travel and related itineraries
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Maintain and manage digital databases
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Conduct performance reviews
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
