Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Winter Seasonal Highway Maintenance Operator to join our team at Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Alberta. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our provincial highways during the winter season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment to maintain Alberta provincial highways
  • Assist with Labourer duties, including crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, and other tasks as required
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in challenging weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license with air endorsement
  • 3-year driver's abstract
  • Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is an asset
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
