A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Provide guidance and support to reports, fostering a collaborative working relationship with all employees.
- Contribute to developing and achieving targets in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
- Supervise and lead in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
- Ensure adherence to the Canfor Operating System (COS) with a focus on abnormality response.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program, ensuring cost targets are within budget.
- Coordinate planned work to meet maintenance and production targets, while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of work performance and correct behavior as required.
- Plan and implement daily and weekly preventative maintenance work lists and duties.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven maintenance and leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing internal and external business conditions.
- Knowledge of an electronic-based maintenance program is an asset.
- An interprovincial trade qualification is considered an asset.
