About the Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Appletree Medical Group. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare and want to gain valuable experience working directly with doctors and patients.

Job Description

The Healthcare Support Specialist will be responsible for performing various administrative and clinical tasks, including registering patients, preparing them for exams, and maintaining accurate records. They will also have the opportunity to train in specialty programs and develop essential skills that can be applied to future medical careers.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Six months to one year of experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in other languages an asset
  • Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends, with flexibility to work at multiple clinic locations

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $16.55 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings and career growth. Our benefits package includes comprehensive vision, dental, medical, and paramedical services, with eligibility beginning after 6 months of continuous full-time employment.
