About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Hardware Technical Support Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our technical support department, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring seamless support for our Connexall Managed Services (CARE+) accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Management: Actively pick up tickets from customers or open new ones on their behalf, identify issues, troubleshoot, engage internal stakeholders, resolve or escalate as necessary, document the issue, follow up with the customer, and close the ticket.
  • Connexall System Design: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Connexall system designs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Support: Provide phone and email support to customers and resellers to resolve software problems efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and product issues using designated tracking tools.
  • System Audits: Conduct remote system audits and health checks of customer systems.
  • Solutions Delivery: Assist the Solutions Delivery Team with implementing Connexall software and workflow configuration changes for customers.
  • Hardware Support: Assist with the configuration and implementation of hardware devices associated with the Connexall Managed Services solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Experience: Experience in delivering customer service via call centre telecommunications preferred; experience with help desk or customer service in software support preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Windows Platform; knowledge of Windows Networking; knowledge of telephony communication systems; technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve questions/issues with SpectraLink VOIP systems/devices.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, ability to analyze application designs and concepts, demonstrated experience installing applications on windows-based environment.
