About the Role:
Feliza African Grocery and Beauty Store Inc. is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers
- Prepare special orders
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
- Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Work under pressure

- Standing for extended periods

- Hand-eye co-ordination
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 hours per week
