Job Title: Meat Cutter Position
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at CANADA INC. as a Retail Meat Cutter. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, as well as wrapping and packaging prepared meats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Grind meats
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special orders
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and will be required to work in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Accurate and dependable
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
Benefits: The successful candidate will be eligible for vision care benefits and will work a permanent position with 35 hours per week.
