About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at Explorer Group Canada Ltd. as a Senior IT Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading IT projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and manage IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Coordinate with systems analysts, programmers, and other computer technicians to ensure project success
  • Direct and control daily IT operations, including evaluating and planning for future needs
  • Recruit and supervise staff, including computer analysts, engineers, programmers, and technicians
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems, including ITIL best practices
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, and meet with clients to discuss system requirements and specifications
  • Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in IT project management or a related field
  • Computer programming skills, including data processing and systems, desktop applications, and programming languages
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
