Project Manager Job Description

Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing custom manufacturing projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage multiple projects, coordinating project activities and ensuring smooth information flow.
  2. Collaborate with purchasing, design, engineering, and production teams to negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized documentation, including schedules, procurement status, and progress reports.
  4. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project management environment.
  5. Utilize project management software and industry best practices, leveraging a solid understanding of P&ID, instrumentation, and process systems.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. PMP certification is an asset.
  2. 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and welding, preferably within the oil and gas or heavy industrial industry.
  3. Proficient in project management software, with a strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), instrumentation, and controls.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client relationships.
  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain thorough documentation.
