About the Role- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and activities.
- Understand the unique needs and objectives of each key account and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of client projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing key accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess performance, address any issues or concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed about changes that may impact key accounts and our business.
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and sales plans to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our value proposition and strengthen our relationships with key clients.
- Bachelor's degree
- Healthcare, insurance or financial industry experience preferred
- Proven track-record of successfully managing accounts or sales, with at least 10 years of experience in account management from which 5 years are in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management, account planning and general sales techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business operational effectiveness and continuation.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue and achieving account growth targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as required to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
- French is an asset
