Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operations of the pharmacy, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and practicing to full scope in providing professional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmacy Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing medication, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products, and ensuring customer confidentiality and consent management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals, including delegating assignments, providing coaching, and driving business growth.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to drive business growth, including implementing new services and programs, and promoting the pharmacy to customers and healthcare providers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintaining accurate records, and managing risk associated with controlled substances.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in pharmacy systems and software.
