Dx Inc is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation. The successful candidate will also have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
* Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
* Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
* Posting journal entries
* Preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
* Preparing tax returns
* Preparing trial balance of books
* Reconciling accounts
