Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets, to management and stakeholders.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Fluency in English.
