We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at CAMERO TRANSPORT. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure their accuracy.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Journal Entries: Post journal entries and ensure their accuracy.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
