Sushi Chef Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Sai.



Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Japanese cuisine and excellent cooking skills. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and providing exceptional customer service.



Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to Sushi Sai's quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet Sushi Sai's productivity and quality goals.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:




  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
