We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Courtyard and TownePlace Suites Toronto Northeast Markham. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business through direct sales solicitation for corporate accounts and business transient clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling.
  • Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rentals, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
  • Accurately produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/catering event orders.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
  • Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in sales or marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in other languages is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation may be necessary.
