Job Title: Scrap Metal Shredder

We are seeking a skilled Scrap Metal Shredder to join our team at GLOBAL METAL SOURCES CO., LTD.

Job Summary:

The Scrap Metal Shredder will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and adjusting processing machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and prepare processing machinery for operation
  • Make adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure optimal performance
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials for processing
  • Provide job training and support to new team members
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment as required
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, hot, and cold environment
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
Working Conditions:

The Scrap Metal Shredder will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
