Job Title: Scrap Metal Shredder

We are seeking a skilled Scrap Metal Shredder to join our team at GLOBAL METAL SOURCES CO., LTD.

Job Summary

The Scrap Metal Shredder will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and adjusting processing machinery, as well as transporting raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in mineral ore and metal processing, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, prepare, and adjust processing machinery
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials
  • Provide job training and support
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, hot, and cold environment
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment

The Scrap Metal Shredder will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to lift heavy loads.
