Our Services team collaborates with major gaming and entertainment companies, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). **Our Original Games Unit**

Our Original Games unit is responsible for creating our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. We're committed to innovation and creativity, and our team is passionate about crafting unforgettable experiences for players.

**Job Summary**

We're seeking a skilled Mission Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of a new AAA IP. As a Mission Designer, you'll work closely with other disciplines to shape the mission's flow and moment-to-moment experience on this cutting-edge product.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design and own missions from initial concept to shippable state, including the design of new gameplay ingredients, encounters, and in-engine implementation.

• Iterate upon the mission's design through feedback and playtesting, ensuring the desired player experience is met.

• Create the logic flow of missions through visual scripting and manage associated data.

• See through the evolution of your mission as it passes through each step of conception, ensuring design intentions are respected towards final delivery.

• Establish and actively improve design conventions for mission goals, actions, pacing, etc.

• Support and review the work of more junior teammates.

• Provide time estimates and reprioritize goals as necessary.

• Create and present detailed design documents and associated requests, as needed.

• Collaborate and follow up daily with other departments.

**Requirements**

• 10+ years of game industry experience as a level/mission designer, especially on AAA titles.

• Strong understanding of mission flow and pacing.

• Previous experience in mission design on AAA projects.

• Experience with visual scripting and sequencing tools (Blueprint, Flowgraph).

• Proficient with Unreal Engine and related tools.

• Ability and willingness to adapt to constant changes.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in French and/or in English.
