Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Source One Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid passport.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Bondable.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Drug test.
  • Medical exam.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a large workload and physically demanding tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
