Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SARTAJ TRUCKING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy. This is a permanent position requiring a valid Class 1 or A driver's license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel internationally
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime and be willing to travel for extended periods.
