Job Title: Truck Driver

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently from one location to another.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  2. Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  3. Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve overall performance.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and professionalism when interacting with customers.
  5. Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  6. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  7. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  8. Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment regularly.
  9. Pay and receive payments for goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  10. Perform brake adjustments and make emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  11. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  12. Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of the vehicle.
  13. Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  14. Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with regulations.
