Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial functions at the plant, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with IFRS;
  • Analyze and explain the financial performance against the budget and last year comparable;
  • Support Operations in the costing and analysis process;
  • Manage HR administrative tasks, payroll, internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and audits;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; accounting designations are considered an asset;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or Controller, with a background in accounting, manufacturing, and cost management, is required;
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency is required, French is not mandatory but considered an asset;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent collaboration skills;
  • Organized;
  • Attention to detail;
