Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Director to join our team at FutureCare Associates, Inc. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, nutrition, and productivity in our facilities.

About the Role: The Food Service Director will oversee the planning, implementation, and review of all food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for supervising food service workers, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Service Operations: Plan, implement, and review all food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • Supervision and Management: Supervise food service workers, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Menu Planning: Plan and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents and comply with dietary restrictions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing food and supplies.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food service operations meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Formal training in Culinary Arts or related fields, and certification as a Dietary Manager or currently enrolled in a recognized certification course.
  • Experience: At least two years of food service management experience in the healthcare industry, with previous supervisory skills and proven ability to lead and manage individuals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and vendors.
