Retail Store Supervisor

As a Retail Store Supervisor at Esso Circle-K, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes assigning sales workers to duties, authorizing payments, and ordering merchandise. You will also be responsible for establishing work schedules, preparing reports, and resolving issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure the sales floor is fully staffed.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
- Establish work schedules and ensure the store is fully staffed during peak hours.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including training and development.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
