Job Overview

CareerArc seeks a highly skilled Security Program Manager to lead our campus security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security program that ensures the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic security plan that aligns with CareerArc's goals and objectives
- Provide mentorship and coaching to Paladin security team members, including Security Officers, Dispatch Operators, Bike Patrollers, and Shift Supervisors
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisors and Portfolio Resource Coordinator to oversee staffing levels and maintain site staffing schedules
- Conduct thorough interviews for prospective staff to ensure they meet the highest standards for deployment
- Oversee completion of all Officer training requirements
- Continuously evaluate and improve site procedures and policies, forwarding recommendations to the Client Service Manager (CSM)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security escalations during regular business hours and after-hours
- Investigate reports of incidents documented by security staff, notifying relevant departments as needed
- Develop and administer training programs for new site employees and refresher training for existing employees
- Perform regular performance reviews and site knowledge assessments
- Maintain and audit first aid equipment, submitting status reports to CSM
- Conduct and oversee investigations into issues or incidents on site, providing comprehensive reports to CSM
- Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting as directed by client and Paladin Security management
- Serve as a liaison between tenants, the public, Paladin Security management, and the client
- Manage assigned projects in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of work experience in the security industry
- Minimum of two years of supervisory/managerial work experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to understand complex scenarios, including emergency situations, and develop effective plans to counter them
- Confidence in handling people management issues, working with HR, and effectively resolving interpersonal conflicts
- Effective succession planning at all levels of the team
- Strong project planning and execution skills
- Ability to maintain and increase staff motivation and morale
- Strong knowledge of access control, fire control, CCTV, and other site-related systems, as well as strong computer skills
