Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer or Technologist to join our team and contribute to our continued success. As an Engineering team member at Berminghammer, you will work with highly talented senior Engineers and Designers to develop new products and improve manufacturing processes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Analysis: Design, analyze, and test mechanical systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Engineering Documentation: Develop and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support project goals.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Research and Development: Conduct research and development activities to support project goals and improve manufacturing processes.
- Project Management: Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues as they arise to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality products.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in a Mechanical Design Engineering role.
- Skills: Strong understanding of heavy steel structure design and fabrication methodologies, ability to perform and document design calculations, proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
