Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Assist in the transportation of construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Help in the setup and removal of temporary structures and equipment.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in the preparation and application of construction materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Provide support in the construction of building structures.
  • Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: Assist in ensuring the site is level and meets the required specifications.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Help in the organization and disposal of salvaged materials.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Assist in the cleanup of spills and contaminants on the work site.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Help in the removal of debris and waste from the work site.
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction: Assist in the operation and maintenance of construction equipment.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: The work site can be outdoors, at heights, and in a dusty environment.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn is a must.
