Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Sidhu Great Construction Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Helper will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Construction Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Weight Handling:

The Construction Helper will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.

The Construction Helper will assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.

Support for Mature Workers:

The Construction Helper will provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
