Job Summary

As a Chief Data Analyst at National Bank, you will play a key role in driving business growth through data-driven insights. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze and interpret complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Support stakeholders in driving value from data by providing actionable insights and recommendations
* Mine and analyze data from various sources to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies
* Create data models that track key performance indicators and represent data using rich visualizations
* Design and develop analytical solutions that meet business needs and drive positive impact

About the Team

You will be part of a large team of colleagues within National Bank, reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Client Data Support. The team is a key strategic partner, responsible for providing data solutions, reporting, and support for all internal functions to drive efficiencies and effective decision-making.

Requirements

* University degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
* Minimum 7 years of experience in a BI role or similar position
* Minimum 7 years of experience in SQL programming and optimizing SQL queries
* Minimum 5 years of experience creating data models and rich visualizations using Power BI (DAX & Power query)
* Experience with Azure, AWS, and using R and Python programming languages is preferred
* Ability to solve complex problems and handle unusual situations that require creativity and being up to date on new technologies and best practices in the industry

Skills

Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. They will have experience working with data visualization tools and be proficient in SQL programming. Additionally, they will have a strong understanding of business intelligence principles and be able to design and develop analytical solutions that meet business needs.
