Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Operations

At Pharmascience Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Operations to lead our indirect procurement efforts. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, improve service levels, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for all indirect spend categories, including IT, professional services, facilities, and production supplies.
- Analyze market trends and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency in procurement processes.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and value-creation initiatives through robust category management and strategic sourcing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure best-in-class service and optimal contract terms.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to drive quality, innovation, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and financial savings.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, align procurement activities, and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect procurement or sourcing, ideally in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industry.
- Proven experience in managing indirect categories, supplier relationship management, and process improvement projects.
