At Canacre, we are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team of experts in delivering innovative solutions to our partners. As a key member of our operation organization, you will play a vital role in planning, leading, and supporting various assignments on strategic proposals that position Canacre for success.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a variety of proposal activities, from qualification statements to complex proposals and presentations. You will be responsible for understanding and applying Canacre's best practices and processes for proposal development, leading the development and coordination of proposals, and coordinating the proposal process from kick-off meeting to submission.
You will also draft sections of proposals, including project descriptions and resumes, tailored for specific proposals, compile materials needed for submission, and write or edit content for non-technical sections. Additionally, you will support communications and content collection with teaming partners and subcontractors, organize and direct the proposal support team, and review and analyze RFPs and RFIs to determine proposal requirements and scope.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and apply Canacre best practices and processes for proposal development.
- Lead the development and coordination of proposals, i.e., RFP/RFI/RFQ/SOQ responses and submittals lifecycle.
- Coordinate the proposal process from kick-off meeting to submission, collecting data, and coordinating team meetings as necessary.
- Draft sections of proposals, including project descriptions and resumes, tailored for specific proposals.
- Compile materials needed for submission.
- Write or edit content for non-technical sections, including interviewing subject matter experts and tailoring resume and project descriptions.
- Support communications and content collection with teaming partners and subcontractors.
- Organize, direct, guide, and communicate with the proposal support team to achieve successful, timely outcomes, and high-quality deliverables.
- Schedule and lead proposal kickoff meetings, distribute notes, and coordinate action items with subject matter experts.
- Review and analyze RFPs and RFIs to determine proposal requirements and scope.
- Identify and communicate risks and actively support risk management associated with proposals.
- Generate leads through procurement portals and RFP inboxes.
- Support supplier registrations and associated RFP/procurement portals.
- Implement company image/brand guidelines on assigned projects.
- Administrate and maintain Canacre's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Post Proposal outcome gather feedback on submitted proposals, analyzing outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Participate in strategy meetings to contribute ideas and insights for enhancing proposal content and presentation.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently and work both collaboratively and/or independently, as necessary.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content, case studies, and other relevant materials for future use.
