About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at MARSHAL'S CANADIAN EXPRESS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Truck Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor and Report on Performance: Track and analyze the performance of our truck drivers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Verify that all truck drivers are in compliance with relevant regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate Maintenance and Repairs: Arrange for regular maintenance and repairs of our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Requisition and Order Supplies: Procure and order necessary supplies, equipment, and materials to support our trucking operations.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities for our truck drivers, enhancing their skills and knowledge to improve performance and job satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 7 Months to Less Than 1 Year of Experience
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, requiring the ability to work 30 to 70 hours per week. The work language is English.
