Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, using kitchen equipment and following recipes and instructions.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, as well as maintain inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment.
