Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team at Squires Four Public House.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. We offer competitive compensation and benefits in line with industry standards.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Chef Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef;
- Kitchen Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, organize buffets and banquets;
- Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including supervision of staff and maintenance of kitchen facilities.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar position;
- Skills and Abilities: Attention to detail, judgement, organized, ability to train staff, manage inventory and maintain kitchen facilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
