About the RoleThe Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. They will work closely with the restaurant's management team to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase the freshest ingredients and creative flavor combinations
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and delivery
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- At least 1 year of experience as an executive chef or in a senior kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
