Job Description: Help Desk/Deskside Support TechnicianYou will interact with end users to resolve support requests and technical inquiries. Your role includes gathering information from the customer, determining the fundamental issue, and completing basic first-level fixes for known problems.
- Take preliminary calls and in-person requests from users and create tickets.
- Provide on-site support to internal customers.
- Gather customer information/data and determine the underlying issue.
- Troubleshoot symptoms of the problem.
- Document steps taken to determine the fundamental issue.
- Hardenware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Educate customers on the problem-solving process.
- Escalate to Level 2 technician within time constraints.
- Follow up on resolutions until completion.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work under supervision and understand the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in a relevant field.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 depending on location and qualifications. Benefits include competitive hourly pay, medical, dental, vision insurance, and a company match program for 401(k).
