Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, negotiating arrangements with suppliers, and driving sales growth through effective promotions and pricing strategies.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff in various areas of responsibility, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding tasks.
