Hotel Managing Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination and Leadership: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, establish work schedules and procedures, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Guest Services: Assist clients/guests with special needs, co-ordinate, assign, and review work, and requisition materials and supplies.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
