About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and supervision of day-to-day activities in our assigned service delivery area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate major and minor construction projects through effective project management and maintenance scheduling techniques.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning and code compliance of designated facilities, including hospital equipment and systems.
  • Liaise with colleagues in the industry to share information and establish/review benchmarks to review productivity.
  • Provide professional expertise to other healthcare organizations and negotiate with contractors, regulatory bodies, manufacturers, and/or suppliers.
Requirements
  • Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
