We are seeking a seasoned Stockroom Operations Manager to join our team at Wonderful Specialty Threads. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom and ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked, organized, and maintained.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in stockroom management, with experience in supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure that customers receive excellent service and that all merchandise is properly displayed and accessible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, including ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, and establishing work schedules.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement processes to prevent shrinkage and misplacement of merchandise.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customers receive excellent service and that all merchandise is properly displayed and accessible.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in stockroom management or related field.
  • Proven track record in supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
