Residential Care Assistant

Chimham Dumapat seeks a Residential Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our clients in their homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic space.
- Dust furniture and other surfaces to prevent dust accumulation.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain cleanliness.
- Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries to clients as needed.
- Stock linen closets to ensure adequate supplies.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene.
- Handle and report lost and found items to maintain a secure environment.
- Provide basic information on facilities to clients and visitors.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and odor-free environment.
- Launder clothing and household linens to maintain cleanliness.
- Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained space.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physically demanding work requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
- Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling capacity.
- Punctuality and dependability are essential for this role.
- Excellent oral communication skills required for effective client interaction.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
