We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Grocery Store Operations Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of supervisors and their teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and support a team of supervisors and their teams, including coaching, development, and conflict management.
- Recruit, retain, train, and onboard staff, volunteers, and students, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Manage program operations, including program development, budgeting, resource allocation, and relationships with funders and community partners.
- Ensure staff and participant safety, and maintain accurate and efficient documentation and data entry.
- Represent the organization at community development and neighborhood meetings, and engage in community consultation and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide intensive case management services, and track progress towards permanent housing.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with staff, community partners, and funders, and demonstrate strong leadership, team building, and decision-making skills.
- University degree in Social Work, Counselling, or related field of study.
- Experience in program development, implementation, and management, with a focus on team leadership and development.
- Excellent communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work professionally as a team member.
- Strong intercultural competency, with the ability to recognize and respect cultural diversity.
- Ability to model effective problem-solving, and demonstrate flexibility and creativity in an innovative and dynamic work environment.
