Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Service Worker to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to our buildings, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide daily cleaning and minor maintenance services to our buildings
  • Clear sidewalks, roadways, and parking lots of ice and snow during winter months to ensure public safety
  • Respond to client requests and perform assigned tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a working knowledge of building operations and maintenance. You must be able to perform minor building repairs and maintenance, as well as inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair problems to restore operation. A valid driver's license is also required.

A 5th Class Power Engineering ticket would be considered an asset for this position, but is not required.
